LIbya is just one more of many war crimes committed by the USA.
The Allied powers made a huge production out of the prosecution of the show trials of NAZI war criminals. At least for the ones who were not scientists. NAZI scientists became what is known to day as NASA and the Russian Federal Space Agency. Many of those scientists were granted immunity by both the USA and Russia..
But what happens when the crime is ours? During WW2 the USA engaged in war crimes and acts of terrorism all over Germany's biggest cities when they went out of their way to create firestorms. Firestorms are created as a deliberate effect of targeted explosives like those who occurred as a result of the aerial firebombings of Hamburg, Dresden, and the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.and Nagasaki. Those are all civilian targets. The USA knew Japan was going to surrender and went ahead and nuked Japan anyway. BY definition these are all war crimes, yet no one has ever stood trial for any of them. We have all heard America justify its behavior in Japan by saying the nuking of HIroshima and Nagasaki ended the war. However, as convenient as that has been for America, its a bold faced lie because America knew before hand that Japan was going to surrender.
Even if the lie was true, it doesn't change the fact that what America did was a war crime directed at civilians. Hiroshima wasn't a military target, neither was Hamburg or Dresden. And there are others. 600,000 bombing missions over Laos during the Vietnam war. The USA conducted a 'secret war' an undeclared war on Laos. NO one will ever know what the casualties were because no one was paying attention

Since the end of WW2, the USA has dropped more bombs and chemical weapons, killing more civilians than any other nation on earth. Napalm and agent orange are chemical weapons.
